Boat Yard Sketch - Oil on Cardboard
This oil sketch was painted on a piece of cardboard
with 4 coats of amber shellac. I should have sanded
the surface as it was a little slippery to paint on. I like
the color of the shellac coming through the painting.
This is another way of doing oil sketch exercisises on
paper or cardboard and not wasting money on stretched
canvas or canvas panels. Try it!
