Bailey Drizzle - 8 x 10 Oil on Panel.
Today it rained all day at the arboretum. I found a semi
dry spot under an over hang and painted this beautiful tree
next to the pond. The painting is a pretty good description
of what it was like out there. Rainy, overcast with atmospheric
light coming from the pond. While painting outside my pochade
box was filling up with water, the paints were getting hard to handle
and my brushes turned to mush. I came inside dried off the
equipment and with the help of Howard Rose salvaged a C painting
to an A painting. What a day. I'll be back there tomorrow.
