Goin Fishin 6x8 Oil on Panel. I painted this early this morning
at the Town Dock in Port Washington. A fisherman was heading out
for a day of Striper's and Blue fish. The sun was coming up and it
was really beautiful. The bright yellow sun on the boats lit up
the fisherman's yellow jacket. There were a few people on the dock
having their morning Starbucks enjoying the start of the
Memeorial Day Weekend. I think adding people to the painting
really sets the mood. I'm not one for painting people but just an
indication with a couple of brush strokes adds to the painting.
